Restoration of 1950's neon DINER sign:

Below are photos of the ongoing restoration of an authentic 1950's neon DINER sign. The sign sat in front of Clark's Diner on Prince Street in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The restoration is being done by Signs by George and son.


Above is a (poor quality) period photo of the neon diner sign as it sat in the 1950's. Here the neon sign sits in our warehouse awaiting restoration.

The initial stages of the restoration process while it's stripped of paint and the letter enclosures (as well as all of the inner wiring and  transformers).





 The neon letter housings after sandblasting and new paint. Below as new wiring and chaser sockets are installed.
