This is a great example of an original 1940's (year to be determined during the restoration) Silk City Diner. It operated as the Silver Diner in London, KY until the end of 2005. It has a main front entrance and a side entrance. Two doors lead out the back of the diner, the center door would normally be for the access to an annex kitchen and the door on the right side would lead into additional seating area (if desired) and rest rooms. The diner seats 52 as configured by the factory. It measures approximately 40 foot long by 15 foot wide. We expect to do a through restoration of this diner to make it as nice as new. You Can visit some similar Silk City Diners that we restored at the following links: Pole Tavern Diner and Blue Moon Diner
