The HILLTOP Diner is a 1955 Silk City Diner (serial number 5593) which was previously located in Wrightstown, New Jersey. It was restored by Diversified Diners and was shipped to Southern California where it is scheduled to open. This diner was very accommodating in that it has numerous doorways and a fairly generous seating capacity of 54. As a 1955 model diner it is much more adaptable to meeting current codes than many of the older units. Click on the photos below to further visit this diner.

Photos of some very similar Silk City diner's.  This is what the diner looked liked when purchased a number of years ago. The frame (chassis) gets a complete renovation as does the rest of the diner.

Photos of the completed restoration. Drawing of the floor plan with dimensions and photos of details. Photos of the roof restoration. Boring, but it's usually the first thing we repair.
