Below are photos of this 1955 Silk City Diner's restoration. The old porcelain enamel skin
was removed, metal sanded and painted, the wood
substructure was replaced where necessary, insulation was added as well as
a layer of tyvek and new porcelain enamel panels were mounted. Click
