| Here's a rough sketch of the floor plan for this 1955 Silk City. The shaded areas represent the table tops. This diner was designed to seat 54 with door ways and table access to meet current disabilities requirements. We modified the sweating with a custom booth at one end to accommodate another 4 patrons. |
| This 1955 Silk City represents the era very well with it's classic color schemes of baby blues, medium blues and pink (Formica counter tops). | Add some curved counters, recessed menu boards and large windows to really make this diner a beauty. | With a custom designed booth we were able to boost the seating by 4. |
